Beaver Creek was a beautiful little park full of history. We had such a good time walking with our 7 year old son there! There's also a small fishing pond for the kids there, well have to remember that for next time!
Had a great time as usual hunting during deer season around the horseman camp area. Which is across the sprucevale Rd from the pretty boy Floyd field
Very nice cabins and campground. Vault facilities are well maintained. Nice shower building. Remember your solar shower.
Pioneer Village is a must see. On certain days they run the grist mill and the blacksmiths. As well as other interpretive areas.
This is a very beautiful state park and notably known for their haunting experiences. It runs next to a creek that at the time I was there it was raining very hard and you got to see the water running off the hillsides. Really very pretty. Very clean!
The Movie "A River Runs Through It" could have been filmed at this location. Absolutely beautiful! The breathtaking scenery is endless. What were the chances that 2 horse riders strolled through while we were sitting creek side!! A great venue to make a road trip for nature lovers!
Such a beautiful getaway.
There's so much to do. You just need to take the time.
We like going there at least 2 or 3 times a month, and we're about 30 minutes away.
I love this place. But, on the way here, I see more confederate flags than I see U.S. flags. Pretty racist area.
Nice campground. The sites were nice and level and clear of debris. The trails are decently marked. Will definitely go back.
